Keep your Spanish-speaking drivers in service
At roadside, the officer interviews the driver in English and asks them to explain road signs. A driver who can't is placed out of service. With Operador Listo you assess your whole fleet from each driver's phone, train the drivers who need it in Spanish, and keep your records in order.
Works on the driver's phone. Nothing to install. Questions? Message us on WhatsApp.

What the officer checks
The inspection starts in English. If the driver doesn't seem to understand, the officer runs the two-step assessment required by 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2).
1. Interview about the job
Routine questions in English: documents, where the driver is coming from and going, what they haul, hours of service. A driver who can't answer doesn't get to step two.
2. Signs and message boards
The driver explains road signs with English text, like weight limits, low clearance or truck routes, and electronic message signs.
Border commercial zone
Inside the commercial zone the driver is cited. If the trip goes beyond the zone, the driver is placed out of service.

Frequently asked questions
Does it guarantee that a driver will pass?
No. The decision is the officer's. We prepare drivers for the questions and signs that are checked, and we document that your company trained them.
Does it work for drivers who struggle to read?
Yes. The lessons are audio explained in Spanish and the simulator reads everything out loud. Because the rule also requires reading signs and making entries on reports in English, the course practices those words too.
What about drivers who only work in the border commercial zone?
Inside the zone, the driver is cited but not placed out of service. If the trip goes beyond the zone, the driver is placed out of service. Training protects both cases.
Do drivers need to install anything?
No. The simulator runs in the phone's or computer's browser. Lessons download as MP3 files and the workbook as a PDF.
Can I cancel the program?
Yes, anytime, from the link in your Stripe receipt or by messaging us on WhatsApp. Billing stops at the end of the paid month.
